At a time where there is escalating volatility with increasing crises and conflicts worldwide, our work implementing this strategy remains crucial - as it provides a sustainable framework to build resilience and protect communities in most need through strong partnerships.
At the AGM, RedR Australia CEO Dr Helen Durham AO presented the key achievements of FY25, and thanked our donors, partners, trainers, roster members, Board and staff who enable our work.
Key FY25 achievements include building and evolving our new and existing partnerships, delivering impactful training courses around the world, and launching our dedicated humanitarian recruitment service, Talent Solutions.
After serving three terms offering her deep experience and counsel, RedR Australia farewelled Board Member, Anna Burke AO, and welcomed two new Board Members: Rupe Hoskin AM and Andrew Wilkins.
AGM attendees also had the privilege to hear from distinguished Keynote Speakers Amanda Gorely - Former Australian Ambassador to the UN, Philippines and Arms Control and Counter Proliferation, and Keir Paterson - CEO of Neighbourhood Houses, as they shared their expertise and insights into taking global and local action to support communities in need.
As RedR Australia looks to the future – CEO Dr Helen Durham shares, “Importantly, on our path to delivering the RedR Australia strategy, our focus is on partnerships – we know what we want to do and we can’t do it alone. Navigating challenges from the global and local levels as well as listening to communities ensuring we include everyone's voice - requires many skilled hands. “
