In response to the devastating humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, RedR Australia is providing surge capacity to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) through two remote deployments.
OCHA is coordinating relief efforts in Gaza, in cooperation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and other partners.
RedR Australia’s roster members are working with OCHA and UNWRA to provide information management and geographic information system (GIS) support. By gaining accurate information on the humanitarian needs of people affected by the deepening crisis, together we can support the millions in need of humanitarian aid.
These deployments are generously funded by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
